IPM stands for Installs Per Millie. IPM measures the number of app installs per 1000 impressions. It is used as a part of a user acquisition strategy to attract new users. Higher IPM can increase eCPM which results in a higher volume of ad impressions and installs.

IPM is calculated by dividing the product of the number of installs × 1000 by the number of impressions.
